Earning the Right to Talk
Welcome back to Season 4 of Special Needs Kids Are People Too! This entire season is going to be focused on Healthcare and Neurodivergent Healthcare specifically! Our first episode is titled Earning the Right to Talk.
There are different ways that we “earn the right to talk” about a particular subject. Sometimes we earn that right by getting a degree in that area of study. Othertimes we read a great deal and self-educate ourselves on a particular topic.
However, we can also “earn the right to talk” about a particular subject through “the school of hard knocks,” in other words, through life experience.
Throughout this season, I will be interviewing people with degrees in relevant areas of study, but I will also be sharing from my own life experience with the very real problem of Substandard Neurodivergent Healthcare.
Join me today as I start our new season off by sharing my own story and experiences with Neurodivergent Healthcare!
