Hi! I’m Amy Bodkin, an Autistic adult and a School Psychologist turned Special Needs Consultant and Public Speaker. I am also a homeschool mom to two great Autistic kids!
I have an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology, a Master’s in Educational Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics.
Professionally, personally, and as a parent, I have a significant amount of experience with Autism and all the many processing and learning differences that can go with Autism.
All of these different angles of experience give me a very unique perspective and insight into children whose experiences fall outside of the average.
My motto is “Special Needs Kids are People Too!” and it is my goal to see each child as a person and not a diagnosis.
Join Amy as she walks you through the principles of supporting special needs families in your co-op.
