A Place to Belong with Amber O'Neal Johnston
Join me today as I talk to Amber O’Neal Johnston about her new book, A Place to Belong: Celebrating Diversity and Kinship in Our Homes and Beyond.
I absolutely LOVE her message about learning to love who we are and where we come from and how that opens us up to being able to see what is beautiful in other people!
This is SUCH an important message for our Special Needs Families where children often struggle with appreciating themselves when they are surrounded by people who aren’t like them!
AND Amber will be joining my Special Needs Membership group for some of our discussion of her new book starting in May! So exciting!

I hope you enjoyed listening to today’s episode and gained some new insights into the wonderful variety of people in our world!
And remember, Special Needs Kids are People Too!
Amazing book! It’s a focus with solution that parents need to engage in. Our children need a place to belong and develop themselves, so they can grow strong enough to go out in the world. They will not only be strong enough to be seen, but brave enough to see others in the world as well. Working relationships are not always easy, but with this book we can make it more possible. Here ideas will help make the world a better place. Amber, if you are open to further discussion, I would would appreciate if you would email me.
I am so glad you enjoyed the book! I will make sure Amber sees your comment! Thanks for tuning in to Special Needs Kids Are People Too!
